TFR eligibility for independent non-commercial researchers

Thank you for releasing TextShield-R1. I am an independent researcher in China conducting private, offline, non-commercial experiments on image manipulation detection. I have evaluated the public model and would like to understand whether there is an official route to request access to TFR for this research.

The project README currently requires a full-time university or research-institute affiliation and an institutional email address. I do not hold that affiliation and cannot accurately complete those fields. Do you consider applications from independent researchers, or offer a public research subset with the relevant labels? If so, please advise the appropriate application process and required information. If eligibility is limited to institutions, a confirmation would also be helpful.

This is an eligibility inquiry, not a request to bypass the application process. No private images or documents are attached. Thank you.
