So i didn't know that all together this was going to be close to 500 gigs so I'm going to buy some hardware and come back to this later. also in grok2 or 3 can we please get a lora trainer or a import folder like music gen? I hard coded tracks into music gen and it was simple. would be nice if we could get that but automated. txt, jpeg, mp3 and mp4 support would be fine the only downside i see is getting people to install ffmpeg cause its not super easy to get working. I don't think we need massive models maxing out A100's to train a model we just need to incentivize it to chew small bits here and there for the individual casual user. just my opinion tho, just thought it would be worth asking since this is kind of its own thing and not a copy paste situation.
Ps. if you just want to donate an a100 for no reason, let me know. If I have to worry about skynet I'd prefer the most libertarian ron paul skynet I can train. freedom > fear but also the boom stick if it ever goes rogue.
