All my documents are deleted :(
This is the first time this has happened to me on a large LLM, the model has deleted all my documents via a node script ... It happened via claude code in auto mode which I thought protected me from this kind of misadventure, the context must have been about 200k, nothing foreshadowed that, he had tested on a feature and then at the end he decided to delete everything... And of course I don't have any backup...
The project was in ~/Documents/projects/xxxx/xxxx I don't understand why he deleted everything in documents, fortunately, he put at least "Documents" and not only "/"
Moral of the story: Never enable the auto mode, it will not protect you, never trust an LLM, I thought it happened only to others or on small models

GLM Coding Lite subscriber. Seeing the exact same pattern.
Reasoning set to MAX. Tried both Hermes Agent and native Zcode. Same result.
Your rmSync log is the clearest example of what's happening: 800+ thinking tokens about how to mock Electron, zero about "wait, I'm about to recursively delete the user's actual Documents folder." The reasoning is there. The self-check is not.
I see the same thing in my own logs. Recent example: two paste-attachments in context โ a skill file and a main text file. The model's thinking correctly identifies which is which. Then applies Edit to the wrong one. Fails. Writes "I mixed up the files." Redoes. 23 minutes for a 5-minute task. Not once does the thinking say "let me verify which file contains the target string before editing."
The pattern is the same in both cases: thinking tokens narrate the plan instead of interrogating it. No "wait," no "what if," no "let me verify before I act." The model used to do this. Now it just proceeds.
It feels like adaptive thinking depth โ the model classifies the request as "simple" and allocates minimal reasoning. For coding tasks it still works. For anything requiring careful verification before a destructive or irreversible action โ the safety layer is gone.
Is this an issue that occurs when accessing via the Coding Plan? I can report it to the relevant colleagues.

Yes โ Coding Plan (GLM Coding Lite), Zcode harness. Switched to Zcode from Hermes Agent for the 0.67ร multiplier. Reasoning set to MAX in both cases, same pattern.
